Holland’s Next Topmodel started in 2006 after the successful show in the USA: America’s Next Topmodel.
In 2009 and 2010 the show collaborated with the Belgium show Topmodel. Although there were no models from Luxemburg and the show as also not broadcasted in Luxemburg the show was named Benelux Next Topmodel (Benelux are Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg).

The winners from 2006 and 2007 (2) represented the Netherlands at Ford’s Supermodel and Sanne even won this contest as the first and so far only model from the Netherlands.
