Although she was mentioned by many bloggers and vloggers as the one to beat, Serena “only” made the top 20 at the Miss International finals. For Serena it is her 3rd big international pageant. Last year she made also the top 20 at the Miss Cosmo International pageant in Vietnam.
For the Beauty of the Netherlands this is their third queen for Miss International, but just the first time make the semi-finals.
We have to admit that we expected Serena to made at least the top 10 or even the top 5 as she did an excellent job towards the finals of this Grand Slam pageant.
For Europe this was not a very successful edition of the pageant as our dutch queen was the only European to make the cut (read the top 20). Many believed at least 3 girls should have entered the semi’s. What happened with our content to score so poorly this year?
It was the other most predicted girl Miss Colombia, Catalina Duque who won the honor to be Miss International 2025. For the country it’s the 4th Miss International crown. In 1960 Stella Marquez was the first queen to win not only for her country this title but she was in fact the first to win at all.
