Tessa Brix won Miss Universe Netherlands 2003 and represented the Netherlands at Miss Universe 2003.
In 2005 she represented the Netherlands at Miss Europe 2005, in Paris, France, as was customary in that time. The Miss Europe Netherlands license was in the hands of the Miss Nederland Organization of that time, so Miss Nederland or Miss Universe Netherlands would represent the Netherlands at this international pageant. Unfortunately Tessa did not make the semi finals.

24 Year old Tessa Brix from Oud-Beijerland will compete on March 12th in Paris for the title of Miss Europe. But before she will enter the stage, Miss Universe Netherlands 2003 will first guide us through the most beautiful spots of Europe.
In what European city would you not be found dead?
“In Lloret de Mar. I don’t like that at all, all those drunk people. I don’t need to be approached by someone in a haze of whiskey and who has bad breath.”
Which is your favorite European city?
“Rome. I have been there twice and both times I’ve enjoyed the old buildings. Gorgeous, the Sistine Chapel. Besides that I love Italian food and the people there are nice.”
Also the italian Machos?
“Yes. I don’t think they are annoying at all. Isn’t it great that they shout out to you that they think you are bella or that they want to talk to you. After all they do it in a gallant way. Very different from Turkish men. They can be pushy!”
Where do the most handsome European men live?
“In Italy, but they should not be too smooth, by excessively brushing their hands through their hair. I don’t mind a bit dark tinted, dark hair and light eyes. Gladly even!”
Where do the ugliest men in Europe live?
“In England. I don’t like white men that much, especially if they have red hair and in summer look like lobsters.”
Are You the most beautiful of Europe?
“Of course not! I will be happy to finish among the top 12. Even though I don’t think I am ugly. I am particularly happy with my breasts and legs.”
Why should they even more have to choose for you?
“Because I am pure nature, in unlike some other queens. Furthermore I am a real go-getter, I am always on time and I am ambitious.”
