Miss Globe is an international annual pageant, founded by Charlie See (1910-2007) in Washington DC. It has a franchising network of over a hundred countries. On the 19th of June 2015, the certificate of franchise was conferred to a registered Holland-based organisation: Blessing Njoh Media & Events which is an entertainment outlet. Obtaining this franchise entails that we have the sole right of selecting a national winner (delegate) to represent The Netherlands at the Miss Globe International contest in Toronto, Canada. On the 11th of October 2015, the 42nd edition will take place.
The main objective of the Miss Globe Pageant is to connect and celebrate diverse cultures across the globe. It is also aimed at providing a unique platform for the winner’s personal development. Our pride in organizing this pageant is designed to inspire leadership qualities, promote commitment to community, encourage academic excellence, and reinforce high ethical standards for the female gender. With the Miss Globe Netherlands title/crown, the winner embraces the spirit of \”giving back\” to society.
Selection of Miss Globe Netherlands 2015 has been successfully conducted. We are pleased to announce that 24-year old Miss Stephany Kluivert emerged winner. She is a final-year student of \”Pedagogisch Medewerkster\”. Stephany will therefore represent The Netherlands at the Miss Globe World Finale in Canada. She is scheduled to arrive Canada on the 22nd of September 2015 where she will be hosted for 3 weeks in preparation of the World finale.
Since our inception in June, we have received numerous partnership requests from individuals and institutions. These requests are a constant reminder that we are on the right path. The last few months have not been a bed of roses for our organisation as a result of inevitable challenges that come along with organising a beauty pageant of international standards. We therefore appreciate companies willing to partner with us and/or sponsor Miss Globe Netherlands trip to Canada. The benefits our partners/sponsors stand to enjoy cannot be undermined. They get an ideal platform to promote their brands and services internationally.
The event will be broadcast live on Canadian television. Highlights and an advertisement slot on regional Dutch TV (Salto 2 TV) will be dedicated to our partners/sponsors. It is worth mentioning that our partners and sponsors jointly contribute to a peaceful future of the world by helping one individual achieve her personal ambition.
