10 questions for, Miss Earth Netherlands 2024 and Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2024, Faylinn Pattileamonia

Faylinn Pattileamonia was crowned in Studio 21 in Hilversum as Miss Earth Netherlands 2024 but at the same Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2024. So Faylinn will represent our country at the Miss Earth pageant in the Philippines on November 9th.
Faylinn is the 8th queen from this organization to go to this grand slam pageant. And she has some big shoes to fill as all 7 ancestors have made the top 10 and most even the top 8. Last year Noa Claus was one of the big favorites to win the pageant but just missed the top 4 and therefore also the crown.

We are sure that she will make a big impression on the fans and the organization. But who is Faylinn? We asked her 10 questions

Who is Faylinn Pattileamonia?
Hello, my name is Faylinn Pattileamonia. I’m 21 years old and currently studying for my
bachelors degree in Communication. From a young age, I’ve always had a deep love for
animals and nature, growing up surrounded by them. At the age of 12, I made the choice to
become a vegetarian, a decision that aligns with my passion for protecting the planet and its
creatures.
My platform is raising awareness about plastic pollution. I believe that together, we can
create a safer and healthier planet, not only for future generations but also for the beautiful
creatures that call our Mother Earth home. Through my platform, I am determined to be a
voice for change, inspiring others to take action in protecting our environment.

When and why did you enter the world of beauty pageants?

Ive always been drawn to beauty pageants. From a young age, they fascinated me, sparking
a sense of curiosity and excitement. I admired the confidence, grace, and advocacy work
that many pageant contestants embodied. My curiosity led me to explore this world, and in
December 2023, I was scouted for the Miss Beauty of Overijssel casting. I was thrilled when I
was selected as a finalist for Miss Beauty of Overijssel 2024.
In March 2024, my life truly changed when I was crowned Miss Beauty of Overijssel 2024.
That moment was pivotal for me. I fully dedicated myself to the Miss Beauty of the
Netherlands competition, giving it 100% of my effort. This journey has shaped me in
countless ways, pushing me to grow both personally and professionally.

You won Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2024 and with this title, also Miss Earth

Netherlands 2024. What is the difference between the Miss Beauty of the Netherlands and
the Miss Earth Netherlands title for you?
I am so grateful to be able to hold these two incredible titles. It means the world to me that,
alongside being Miss Beauty of the Netherlands, I can also proudly call myself Miss Earth
Netherlands. Through the Miss Earth Netherlands title, I have the opportunity to expand my
passion and love for animals and nature even further, using my platform to advocate for the
environment. I feel deeply honored to represent the Netherlands on an international stage.
The main difference between the two titles, for me, lies in their focus. Miss Beauty of the
Netherlands represents beauty with a purpose and encourages personal growth, confidence,
and empowerment. However, Miss Earth Netherlands adds a more profound layer of
environmental responsibility. It allows me to actively advocate for causes like plastic
pollution and the protection of our mother earth. Through Miss Earth, I can bring more
attention to the pressing environmental issues we face today, which resonates deeply with
my personal values and passion for creating a healthier, safer earth.

How are you preparing for the Miss Earth pageant?
I’m incredibly busy preparing for the Miss Earth pageant! My schedule is packed with
catwalk lessons, mental coaching, and communication skills training to ensure I’m ready in
every aspect. In addition to working on my personal development, I’m also focused on
expanding my knowledge and spreading awareness about plastic pollution, sharing ways we
can make a positive impact on this global issue.
Recently, I visited the Seal Rescue Centre in Pieterburen, where I had the wonderful
opportunity to help release a rescued seal back into the wild. It was such a rewarding
experience. I also visited a pig farm that is dedicated to improving the living conditions of
animals, which aligns closely with my passion for animal welfare.
Aside from these activities, I’ve been maintaining a regular fitness routine and living a
healthy lifestyle to stay in top shape for Miss Earth 2024. There’s a lot of preparation going
on, but I’m fully committed to giving it my best!

The Netherlands have made the top 8 in Miss Earth many times, what are you going to do,
to bring home one of the 4 crowns?
I’m going to do my absolute best to bring home one of the four crowns for the Netherlands. I
believe it’s essential to stay true to myself and continue following my passion and love for
animals and the environment. I will stand strong in advocating against plastic pollution,
which is a cause I deeply care about and will make sure it remains at the forefront of my
journey.
In addition to this, I will focus on building meaningful connections with others, sharing my
message on a global stage with confidence and authenticity. Lastly, I will continue to
improve myself both physically and mentally, ensuring that I’m fully prepared in every
aspect, from my communication skills to my presence on stage. By combining all these
efforts, I am determined to represent my country proudly and give my all to bring one of the
4 crowns home.
I truly love all the elements, each one has its own unique beauty. Fire represents passion,
strength, and energy—qualities I admire because they remind me to always pursue my goals
with intensity and dedication. Water, on the other hand, is so calming and symbolizes
adaptability and purity, which are essential for growth and change. Air signifies freedom and
creativity, inspiring me to think outside the box and embrace new possibilities.
However, Earth is truly a dream and the element that resonates with me the most. It
embodies everything I’m passionate about: nature, animals, and our responsibility to protect
our earth. For me, Earth represents life itself, and winning the Miss Earth crown would be
the ultimate honor because it aligns perfectly with my advocacy for environmental
protection and sustainability. It would be a symbol of everything I stand for and work
towards.

There are many iconic winners at Miss Earth, who is your favorite international winner so
far and why?
My favorite Miss Earth winner is Karen Ibasco Miss Earth 2017. I am still incredibly inspired
and motivated by her winning answer, “Micro efforts will have a macro effect.” I truly agree
with that statement because it emphasizes how small, individual actions can create a large,
collective impact on our environment.
Karen embodies what it means to be a real Earth warrior, and her dedication to science and
sustainability continues to inspire me to push forward in my own advocacy. She has shown
the earth that with knowledge, passion, and action, we can all contribute to a better and
healthier earth.

If there was a flower called Faylinn, what flower would the be and why?
If there were a flower called Faylinn, it would be a sunflower. Like the sunflower, it would
represent strength, warmth, and positivity, always turning towards the light even in
challenging times.
Sunflowers stand tall, radiating energy and resilience, much like how I approach life: facing
every challenge with optimism and determination. Just as the sunflower symbolizes loyalty
to the earth and its surroundings. Faylinn would symbolize a deep connection to nature,
growth, and the power to inspire others to bloom in their own way.

Miss Beauty of the Netherlands supports the Linda Foundation. Can you tell us more about
this Foundation, and what is your contribution to this cause?
The Linda Foundation is a charity that raises funds to support families in financial need,
especially those with children. Their goal is to provide relief to families struggling to make
ends meet, offering them a helping hand to ease their financial burdens.
I have personally contributed to this cause by raising money through various initiatives,
including promoting awareness for the foundation. It’s a cause that’s close to my heart
because no child should have to grow up in poverty. Being able to make a difference, even in
small ways, feels incredibly rewarding and aligns with my commitment to helping others.

What will be your legacy?
My legacy will be a lasting impact on both people and the planet, driven by my passion for
protecting the environment and advocating for animal welfare and plastic pollution. I want
to inspire others to believe that small actions can lead to big changes, whether it's reducing
plastic pollution or choosing more sustainable lifestyles.
Beyond my advocacy, I hope to be remembered as someone who stayed true to herself,
used her platform to amplify important causes, and encouraged others to find their own
voice in making the earth a better place. Ultimately, my legacy will be one of compassion,
action, and a deep connection to the Earth and its beautifull creatures.

What is your message for your fans in the Netherlands and abroad.
I just want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you,
both in the Netherlands and around the world. Your unwavering support and love mean
everything to me. You inspire me every day to be my best self and to work harder for the
causes we care about together.
Thank you for believing in me and for joining me on this incredible journey. Your kindness
and encouragement fuel my passion, and I am truly blessed to have you by my side.
Together, we can create positive change and make the earth a better place.

Love, Faylinn

Faylinn, thank you so much for taking the time in your busy schedule for these great answers! We wish ou and your organization all the best at the upcoming finals of Miss Earth.
