Yfke Sturm

Yfke was discovered while shopping by someone from Elite model Management. She was asked to participate in the dutch Elite Model Look of the year and she won.
The international finals were in Nice, France and Yfki, just 15, went to the finals and also won that one. She signed a contract with Elite and soon after she she graced the covers and the pages of magazines like Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan and Glamour. She also did many campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Armani and DKNY, to mengion a few.
Yfke hosted the two first editions of Holland’s next Topmodel in 2006/2007.
A tragic accident happend in 2015. She just had become a mother when she was hit by a jet surfboard in Italy. With sincere head wounds she was kept in a coma for some days. Many believed she would not survive but she recovered completely.
She is also a ambassador for the Red Cross and has her own foundation: Yfke for Kids. This foundation helps children all over the world who have lost their parents due to AIDS.
In 2009 she also published a book: Yfke’s Model Secrets, about how to become a model and the life of a model.
She now lives in Londen with her partner and child.
