80’s Saturday, Miss Voorhout 1988

On the picture we see the lovely Liesbeth Caspers who won the first Miss Nederland pageant in 1989 and represented the Netherlands at the Miss World 1989 pageant and just missed the top 10 by 1 point.
Before Liesbet won Miss Nederland she already participated in many local pageants and also in the Miss Holland 1989 pageant. She won the Miss Callanstoog pageant, the Miss Rotterdam 1989 pageant and the Miss Voorhout 1988 pageant.
At the Miss Holland 1989 pageant she missed the top 6 but was awarded Miss Symphatica by the other contestants.
