Today’s 12 Months of Beauty 2022 Finalist is newcomer Rachel Lucassen. She is one of the 8 women to compete for Miss Grand Netherlands 2022 and Miss Supranational Netherlands 2022.
Who is Rachel Lucassen?
My name is Rachel Lucassen, I am 23 years old and I was born I Amsterdam. Right now I am living in a small village called Budel, close to Eindhoven. I have my own salon, where I work as a hair- and nail stylist.
Why did you enter the pageant of 12 Months of Beauty?
I entered the pageant of 12 Months of Beauty because I want the world to show something about me and the ideas that I have. I believe that it is important to feel empowered and valued for the person that I am today and tomorrow. The 12 Months of Beauty team definitely makes me feel that. I believe we would be a great team!
What difference would you like to make for the pageant world in The Netherlands and why?
The difference that I am trying to make is that people keep looking at their mental health, not only the health of our body’s. You need to have a good balance. I want to show people awareness in the balance of mental and physical health. It is important because you can be physically as fit as you might be, but mentally break. You can underestimate it. For example, COVID-19. The pandemic had people mentally break, be aware of that.
What message do you have for your pagaent fans?
Don’t stop working and learning about yourself, work yourself up to a higher level and keep develop your knowledge. Listen to yourself. You can everything you manifest. You can’t buy a happiness life, but you can create one and that’s pretty close. So you can be your best version.
